Beautifully blooming narrow-leaved everlasting pea (Lathyrus sylvestris) grows several meters long stolons and forms thick growths on the ground. It can climb up to one meter in height, taking support from other plants. The narrow-leaved everlasting pea is one of our most spectacular legume plants and it resembles the ornamental plant sweet pea.

The species thrives in the forests and on the meadows of bright slopes. It tolerates drought well but it needs a nutritious soil to flourish. When the narrow-leaved everlasting pea is not blossoming, you can recognize it by its strongly winged stem and long and narrow leaf pairs.
